Surrounded by sea on three sides, Pembrokeshire is a haven for exhilarating water sports, spectacular coastal walks and the freshest seafood all set in a wild and incredibly beautiful landscape.
The landscape is protected by the unique Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where along its shores you’ll find the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The 186 miles of meandering trail visits coves and harbours, over 50 beaches, through vibrant towns and villages, and the smallest city in Britain: St Davids.
Away from the coast, Pembrokeshire is fantastic for family holidays – there’s no end of choice; adventure parks, castles, boat trips and family festivals, they are just some of the attractions and events that will create lasting memories.
The racing will take place over two weekends, bringing a festival atmosphere to Saundersfoot.
On the first weekend, the World Rowing Coastal Championships will take the racing along the Pembrokeshire making it perfect for combining with exploring the National Park.
The second weekend will see the World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals bring the party to the beach on Saundersfoot with all the racing visible from the shore.
If you want to come down and help us organise the event then why not apply to be one of our WaveMaker volunteers. There's a range of roles available and no rowing experience is needed.Learn more
